Welcome to Impressions Gallery

Impressions Gallery is for everybody and we're free.

We're one of the UK's independent leading venues for photography and we show the best of today's photographers. We've moved from York and have reopened in a purpose-built new building in the heart of Bradford's city centre. Our exhibitions change regularly so there's always something different to see. Be inspired and join in!

What we do

Impressions stages, on average, five exhibitions per year, and we have a particular interest in nurturing and supporting the work and career development of new emerging artists.
The gallery initiates at least one new body of work per year.
Our exhibitions tour both nationally and internationally.
Publications are regularly produced to complement and extend our exhibitions.
We run a diverse education and events programme.
We offer imPRINT, a new series of limited edition original prints by exhibiting photographers.
