What's on offer

Impressions Gallery recognises the need for a flexible education offer to suit the needs of a range of groups. Whether you are stopping by for a casual visit or planning a dedicated trip to see our current exhibition we can support your needs.  From free introductory talks to full Visual Literacy sessions you can find details of what we offer to visiting groups by clicking here.

How to book

Whether you are booking one of our activities or visiting us independently, you must book in advance by calling us on 01274 737843. Please ensure you have the following details prepared:

•    Dates and times of your proposed visit
•    The activity session you would like to book
•    Your full address and contact telephone number
•    Size and age of the group
•    Any special needs the group have
•    If you need a space for lunch and need to use our lockers

Supervision

Gallery staff will lead the visual literacy sessions, but teachers, lecturers and group leaders are responsible for supervising their group at all times.

Please ensure you can meet the following adult to student ratios:

Age 6 – 11          1:5
Age 11 – 16        1:10
Age 16 – 18        1:20

Suitability

It is advisable that you check the content of the gallery and exhibition is suitable for your group. To do this please call the Gallery on 01274 737843.

It is advisable to complete a risk assessment prior to your groups visit to the gallery.

Enjoy free facilities

Use our lockers to store personal belongings and our lounge space overlooking Centenary Square for your group to relax and eat packed lunches.

Make a day of it

Across the road from Impressions, the National Media Museum has interactive displays of photography, film and television and an IMAX cinema, the Alhambra Theatre has many performances throughout the year and Fuse gallery has a rolling exhibition programme and is a short walk from Impressions in Bradford city centre
