Dead Threads Day

Impressions Gallery hosts the second Dead Threads competition brought to you by Saltaire vintage boutique, The House of Rose & Brown.

The challenge is to resurrect / reconstruct / refashion clothing which is no longer fit to wear, transforming it into imaginative, wearable fashion.  Join us at this drop-in workshop and take the chance to customise your old clothing or start your competition entry.  Sewing experience is not essential as help will be on hand.

Join us for an evening of music, fashion, and fun.

Using the themes within Margareta Kern’s work, Bradford College of Arts and Media BA (Hons) Fashion students have designed their own To Die For outfit, which explores the idea of creating the ultimate ensemble for an important event.
