Artist Talk with James Barnor

Saturday 10 August 2013, 2.00pm to 3.00pm

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear photographer James Barnor talk about his work with Renée Mussai, Head of Archive at Autograph ABP, and curator of Ever Young.

James Barnor’s long career covers a remarkable period in history, bridging continents and photographic genres to create a transatlantic narrative marked by his passionate interest in people and cultures. Through the medium of portraiture, Barnor’s photographs represent societies in transition: Ghana moving towards its independence and London becoming a cosmopolitan, multicultural metropolis.

After the Artist Talk stay with us for our Summer Party with James Barnor from 3pm, with a chance to view the exhibition, meet James, and enjoy summer drinks and nibbles.

Free event. Booking recommended.

To book call 01274 737843 or book online via Eventbrite below. If the talk becomes fully booked you are still welcome to attend our Artist Reception and Summer Party from 3pm.
