Artist Talk with George Chakravarthi

Saturday 12 April 2014, 2pm to 3pm

Hear George Chakravarthi talk about Thirteen in conversation with Pippa Oldfield, Impressions' Head of Programme, and join in the question and answer session afterwards.

Evoking death, drama and identity, George Chakravarthi re-imagines thirteen Shakespearean characters who meet their ends through suicide. Marking the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare’s birth, this is the first time Thirteen will be shown outside the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Free event, donations welcome. Booking recommended.

Stay with us for our Artist Reception with George Chakravarthi immediately after the talk to meet the artist, discuss the exhibition and enjoy refreshments.

As well as offering free tickets, we are now accepting donations for our Artist Talks, all donations are welcome and help fund our education programme. You can donate to the gallery while you reserve your ticket via eventbrite and all donors will be entered into a prize draw to win an Impressions publication. Please note a booking fee will be added to your donation by Eventbrite, this is beyond our control.
