Redeye Presents: Hothouse Bradford

Saturday 21 March 2015, 12.30pm to 4.30pm

Hothouse returns to Bradford for an afternoon of presentations from the region’s most promising new creative talent, alongside a hub of photographic activity, delivered by Redeye in association with Impressions Gallery.

Throughout the afternoon there will be short presentations from photographers about their recent work and projects, plus ample opportunity for networking and portfolio reviews. If you have a project or body of work you would like to talk about (whether it’s complete or a work in progress) we would love to hear from you. For details on how to apply read the information below, or click here to visit Redeye’s website.

The event draws to an end with an exclusive tour of Drawn By Light: The Royal Photographic Society Collection exhibition at the National Media Museum, by Colin Harding, Curator of Photography and Photographic Technology NMeM.

Hothouse is a free event but booking is required.

Get involved

Apply to present your work
Redeye is seeking photographers who can give short, ten to fifteen minute presentations about their work. These can either be a single project, series or connected body of work, and the slots are open to photographers from all fields.

If you are interested in presenting your work, please send up to 12 jpeg images (no bigger than 5MB in total), along with a few sentences about yourself and your work, to by 4pm Saturday 21 February 2015.

Showing your portfolio or book
There are two options for showing your book or portfolio. You can leave your work on an open table for others to browse. There will be staff nearby but the table will not permanently staffed so we advise you not to leave unique books or anything of significant value. Alternatively, you can remain on hand to talk to visitors about your work, we will provide a limited number of tables for this purpose. Spaces at these tables are first come, first served. If you would like to bring a portfolio, please email Cheryl Twomey at

For more information on presenting or sharing your work click here.
