Photobook Fair Talk: Murray Ballard The Process of Publishing

Saturday 15 October, 1.30pm to 2.00pm

Hear acclaimed photographer Murray Ballard share his experience of creating his first book, The Prospect of Immortality, published by GOST.

The Prospect of Immortality offers an amazing photographic insight into the practice of cryonics: the process of freezing a human body after death in the hope that scientific advances may one day bring it back to life. Ten years in the making, Ballard's publication is a testimony to commitment and perseverance, resulting in a stunning 186 page clothbound book documenting this fascinating world.

Followed by a book signing.

This event is part of our Photobook Fair, come along earlier in the day to browse a huge range of photobooks and zines, and hear other photographers speak about their practice and publications.
