Time for Tea

Friday 19 May 2017, 11.30am to 1.30pm

Join us for free tea and cake, and enjoy a friendly, social morning in our gallery overlooking City Park.

At 12.30pm there will be a short talk about our exhibition Mother River, a photographic journey along the entire length of China's Yangtze River.
Made over four years, Yan Preston travelled from the remote high Tibetan Plateau to the river’s end at Shanghai, finding and photographing sixty-three locations in incredibly diverse and often remote terrain.

Stay with us until 1.00pm and hear authentic Chinese music by an expert from The Business Confucius Institute at The University of Leeds, who will play the se kong gu - a form of Chinese drum.

Time for Tea is our free regular event for over 55s, everyone is welcome.
