Feed Your Mind: International Women's Day

Thursday 8 March 2018, 3.30pm to 4.30pm

Join curators Anne McNeill and Pippa Oldfield on International Women’s Day for afternoon tea and an informal discussion on women in photography.

Do male photographers receive more exposure than female, and if so, why? Discover the key role that that Impressions has played in bringing women’s photography to the forefront since the gallery was established in 1972, and hear more about exhibitions by artists including Anna Fox, Joy Gregory, Trish Morrissey, as well as the recent exhibition No Man’s Land: Women’s Photography and the First World War.

While you're at the gallery, don’t miss our flash sale with a specially selected range of discounted photobooks by eminent women photographers as well as a pop-up exhibition of work by Joy Gregory, one of the most important artists to emerge from the 1980s Black British photography movement.

Free event, no booking required
