Photobook Fair 2018

Saturday 20 October 2018, 11.00am to 4.30pm

It’s one of the most popular events in our calendar and a must for all photobook enthusiasts.
Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to browse and buy a great range of photobooks, artist books and zines, including newly published work and rare publications.

 A free programme of events will run throughout the day including talks, book launches, book signings, a zine making workshop and a thrift stall.

Confirmed sellers include Dewi Lewis Publishing, Bluecoat Press, Pavement Studio, Tide Press, Trace Editions and Ceremony Press. We'll also be showcasing a hand-picked selection of the latest self-published photobooks from across the globe.

Zine Making Workshop

11.15am to 12.30pm

Join artist Jean McEwan from grassroots arts project Wur Bradford to help you create your very own photo zine. Bring your photos and creativity to this crafty workshop. You can also use images supplied on the day.

Enjoy a lunchtime talk with well respected publisher Dewi Lewis of Dewi Lewis Publishing who will let you into some secrets of the trade.

Operation Jurassic: 
In Conversation with Roxana Allison and Pippa Oldfield

1.45pm to 2.30pm

Launch of Operation Jurassic a photobook by British-Mexican brother and sister Roxana and Pablo Allison, published by Pavement Studio. Roxana will share her experience of creative collaboration in conversation with Pippa Oldfield.

Talk and Book Launch with Yan Preston

3.00pm to 3.45pm 

Hear Yan Preston speak about her epic and intrepid work charting the Yangtza River over 6,000kmfrom source to delta.

At 3.45pm to 4.30pm we will host the official launch of Yan's new book Mother River published by Hatje Cantz. Have your book signed and enjoy refreshments at this social event.
