Learning Manager

£20,000 – £24,000 (depending on experience)
2 year fixed contract (with possibility of extension subject to funding)
Full time (37.5 hours a week)

Impressions Gallery helps people understand the world through photography. The gallery collaborates with photographers and organisations nationally and internationally to commission, exhibit and publish photography. It is one of the UK’s leading contemporary photography galleries and an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation (NPO). Learning and education is an integral part of the gallery’s programme, comprising a wide range of learning opportunities, activities and events for various sectors of the community.

We are seeking a confident and proactive Learning Manager to be responsible for the development and delivery of our learning and audience development programme. The successful candidate will also play a role in progressing Impressions digital ambitions and developing new funding streams within the learning programme.

Applicants must be knowledgeable about contemporary photography and should preferably be educated to degree standard in photography or similar, with at least three years experience working in galleries, museums or a cultural venue in a learning or audience development role.
