Impressions Gallery

Call for Independently Published Photography Books

Tue, 15th Sep, 2009

Do you have a brilliant self-published or independently-published photography book, and want it to be seen by a wider audience?

Impressions Gallery is launching a new initiative to support self-published photographic artists, starting with our Photography Book Fair Weekend on Saturday 24 to Sunday 25 October 2009.

We are looking for a selection of books to sell over the weekend; some selected titles will also be included in Impressions regular stock, to be sold on an ongoing basis.

The Photography Book Fair will include workshops, talks, and a book fair, giving other photographers and the public the opportunity to discover and buy new publications from across the UK.

Talks include Dewi Lewis (founding Director of Cornerhouse and Director of Dewi Lewis publishing, one of the world's leading photographic publishers) and David Moore (widely exhibited and published photographer, whose work The Last Things can be seen at Impressions Gallery from 18 September to 8 November 2009).

This is a fantastic opportunity to promote and sell your photography book!
