The series of photographic portraits Back to the Village by Anna Fox are on show as part of Always Greener: Views from the Contemporary Countryside at PM Gallery, London from 4 May to 24 June 2012.

Curated by Rosemary Shirley, Always Greener brings together a selection of artists who challenge modern preconceptions of the countryside and offer instead views of the reality of modern rural living. Back to the Village by Anna Fox documents contemporary village life and the rituals that have developed through the ages. This series was shown as part of the major exhibition Cockroach Diary & other stories originated by Impressions Gallery.

Other exhibiting artists include Georgina Barney with Alice Carey, Christina Bryant, The Caravan Gallery, Emily Cole, Andrew Cross, Anna Fox, James Ireland, Tim Machin, Antje Schiffers and Thomas Sprenger of
