Join us online for a special International Women’s Day edition of Feed Your Mind, our regular series of lunchtime talks.
Inspired by our exhibition Being Inbetween by Carolyn Mendelsohn, we’ve invited some inspirational Bradford women to share their photographs and memories of navigating the path to adulthood, between the ages of 10 and 12. Come along to hear artist Jean McEwan, Director of BCB Radio Mary Dowson, Chair of Bradford 2025 Shanaz Gulzar, Eleanor Barrett, artistic director of The Brick Box, and exhibiting photographer Carolyn Mendelsohn share their experiences.
In the second half of the event, we’ll open up the floor and you’ll have the chance to share your own memories and photographs: what do you remember about being aged 10-12? What did you love doing? How did you spend your weekends? What was the outfit you couldn’t live without? Who was your favourite popstar?
Join in the conversation, or just come along to listen in at this friendly and informal lunchtime talk.
This event will take place online via Zoom.
Free event, donations welcome.
Booking essential via Eventbrite
