Kaamna will be speaking about how she is trying to be more sustainable at JOJO and some of the ideas she’s been discussing with peers on how they can implement a more sustainable way of making and also sharing books. I’ll speak about our new book Good Morning in this context and also about my first book In Today’s News.

Kaamna Patel
Kaamna is a visual artist and book maker currently based in Mumbai. Through her practice, she is exploring the periphery of photographic representation within the history of documentation and in response to the evolution of technology, often through abstraction and through the lens of the absurd.
Kaamna launched her publishing imprint Editions JOJO with her book 'In Today's News: Alpha Males Women Power' in May 2019 in Mumbai. JOJO has since expanded to become a platform for visual art , at the centre of which is a public photobook library based in Mumbai. Kaamna received the IFA 25x25 grant in 2020 and she has been an artist in residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts Paris in 2022.
