“I” is the first book of street and fine-art photographic images from Greig Clifford, with a few hints towards his music photography life too.
Taking inspiration from the original street photographers of yesteryear, particularly those who combined the documentary style with a highly artistic aesthetic, this photo book displays a similar timeless feel.
The images hint at non-tangible elements of human nature, sometimes using metaphor to explore themes such as companionship, curiosity, determination, freedom, isolation, loss, moments of contemplation, and various interactions between people and the world around them.
Sometimes the world just presents itself in a particularly artistic way…

Greig Clifford
For those unfamiliar with the name it is pronounced 'Greg'. He studied photography at Northbrook in the 1990's after leaving school with Art A-level, and is based out of Brighton on the English south coast.
Since 2010 he has worked as a music photographer, highlights include direct commissions for Rock Sound and Metal Hammer magazines, and his images have been published by Kerrang!, Rhythm, Q magazine, the BBC, and many other music publications. He currently has 15+ album and EP artwork credits.
2020 now sees him continuing to expand his horizons by showing his street and fine photography too...
