Join Impressions’ Bookshop Manager Jane Hiley and Director Anne McNeill, judge of the Kraszna-Krausz Book Awards 2019, to find out what makes a compelling photobook.
Learn some dos and don’ts of publishing your own photobook and get creative ideas and inspiration for self-publishing your photography. Discover the tactics that make some books fly off the shelves and find out why others never get picked. We’ll discuss the importance of paper choice, typeface and design; and offer suggestions on layout, pacing and narrative within your book. As well as this, we’ll provide insight into the all important question of how to price your book.
From hand-stitched binding to high impact images, we’ll be sharing inspiration from some of the 30+ self-published titles in our specialist bookshop and presenting our top tips on self-publishing like a pro.
Booking essential, pay as you feel £5, £10, £15
