Calling all teenagers in Bradford! Do you want to get your voice heard? Are you passionate about the environment and plastic pollution? Come and tell us what we can all do to use less plastic.
On 27 July, teenagers are taking over Impressions Gallery for a special event Teentastic We Hate Plastic, run by our young people’s collective New Focus. Throughout the day, you will get the chance to enjoy the exhibition Our Plastic Ocean by Mandy Barker, experience VR, contribute to a growing artwork, and have your say on plastic pollution.
We are looking for young people to come and take the stage and speak your mind for 3 minutes. We are looking for people with a passion for plastic pollution, recycling and the environment. You could be a poet, an MC, an activist or a writer or have never spoken in public before, everyone is welcome. We are looking for a mix of voices and styles that will empower others to take action and start using less plastic.
Have Your Say will take place from 3pm to 3.30pm at Impressions Gallery on the 27 July.
If you’re interested in getting involved and taking the stage for 3 minutes please email Jennifer Sobol on newfocus@impressions-gallery.com or get in touch with us via social media.
