Bradford music week is happening across the city from Monday 26 May to Sunday 1 June 2008 and will feature seminars, exhibitions, workshops, special events and activities and of course gigs - lots of em, big and small! There will be concerts from national breaking bands and also importantly opportunities for local artists to play in everything from small acoustic performances to full blown gigs at various venues in and around the city centre.
Highlights of Bradford Music Week include:
Ash performing an exclusive date at St George’s Hall
Lightspeed Champion headlining the BD1 Live gig at St George’s Hall
The Hop - featuring an eclectic mix of 24 buzz bands in two venues in one day
100 drummers – everyone can take part in this huge jam session in Centenary Square
Young Guns – bringing the week to a close with thrilling breakdancing and DJ set a the Alhambra Studio

Record Fair
10.00am to 4.00pm
Buy and sell at this Record Fair with 20 stalls featuring rare and collectable Vinyl, CD’s and music memorabilia. All genres 1960’s to present day featured. Also enjoy the entertainment from 12.00pm to 4.00pm outside the Studio in Centenary Square, with street entertainment, 100 drummers, acoustic stage and much more.
