The Visitor is an interactive game created especially for Ways of Looking and is a fun and intriguing way to explore Bradford and the festival on foot.

Go behind the scenes with this amazing chance to see original photographs from the National Media Museum archive, selected by Red Saunders, whose exhibition Hidden is currently being shown in Impressions Gallery. Saunders will be leading a discussion about the selected photographs and why they are important to him, including Oscar Gustav Rejlander's 'The Two Ways of Life', taken 1857 and rarely seen newspaper images of political leaders.

Join us for a relaxed afternoon of artists films exploring the transmission of history and the construction of collective memory. Programmed in collaboration with Cherry Kino, works include Perfect Film by Ken Jacobs and Blight by John Smith.

There will also be a chance to view our exhibition Hidden by Red Saunders, which recreates momentous but overlooked events in the history of Britain’s struggle for democracy and equality.
