This Easter, get absorbed in a fun painting activity for all the family. Learn about traditional Chinese kite painting and take home your own creation at the end of this two hour, hands-on session.

Pop in to Impressions Gallery on Saturday 3 June 2017 and enjoy free activities inspired by our exhibition Mother River by Yan Wang Preston. Get creative with make and take activities, or pick up a Gallery Trail and solve the puzzles as you journey through the exhibition.
From 12.00pm to 2.00pm there will be a free Chinese Lantern making activity. In Chinese culture, paper lanterns are often made for festivals and celebrations. Try your hand at making your own Chinese Lantern and decorating it in your own unique style.
