Competition now closed - Congratulations to @graemeoxby the winner of our #PlanetUK Instagram competition selected by Peter Mitchell

To celebrate our new exhibition Planet Yorkshire by Peter Mitchell we are inviting you to take part in our Instagram photography competition #PlanetUK.
For the past forty years Peter Mitchell has focussed his eye on Yorkshire capturing people and places, demolition and development. His photographs capture a view of a vanishing world and spark memories of times gone by.
This competition is inspired by the work of Peter Mitchell. Think about some of the things he has photographed such as shop fronts, scarecrows, country churchyards, people, homes, gardens, graffiti, shrines and demolitions.
Imagine travelling in time to 2056. What will you photograph today that might be forgotten tomorrow? What is culturally significant in 2016? How can we tell the story through photography?
Use your imagination remember it’s #PlanetUK so you do not need to focus on Yorkshire!
The winner will be selected by Peter Mitchell, and will receive a signed copy of Peter’s postcard book, Scarecrows 1974 – 2015 published by RRB Photobooks.
Follow impgalleryphoto on Instagram and upload your photos. Let us know about your entry by adding @impgalleryphoto to your post. All entries must be tagged #PlanetUK
