Working in Iceland with a large format camera, Vaughan investigates the persistent human urge to explore unknown territory and depicts some of the rawest, youngest surfaces on Earth. His monumental landscapes reveal vast glaciers, shifting tectonic plates and steaming sulphurous pools.
