Girl Power is a specially commissioned film by New Focus – Impressions Gallery’s young people’s collective.
Made to coincide with Being Inbetween by Carolyn Mendelsohn, Girl Power shares the hopes fears and aspirations of three young girls from the exhibition: Alice, Amaira and Kiara. The film takes us on a journey around Bradford, as the girls stand proud for the camera and share their passions for equality, anti-racism and the environment.
Girl Power is funded by Bradford Council, Bradford UNESCO City of Film and Bradford 2025 as part of their Make Film programme, and supported by Arts Council England.
