Fishermen & Kings: The Photography of Olive Edis
“Fishermen & Kings” is the first comprehensive exhibition to celebrate the life and work of pioneering British photographer Olive Edis, the first-ever accredited female war photographer. Though relatively unknown, Edis’s subjects range from British royalty and aristocracy to the fishermen of north Norfolk, and her photographs include the battlefields of France and Flanders taken during her time as an official World War I photographer.
