• Admission to Impressions Gallery and our exhibitions is free.
• Photography and recording of artworks and public events are not permitted unless authorised in advance with the Gallery.
• Visitors are requested to keep their personal belongings with them at all times.
• Impressions Gallery reserves the right to refuse admission or attendance to any visitor.
• Impressions Gallery reserves the right to make any alterations to an advertised programme rendered necessary by unavoidable causes.
• From time to time we (or a third party) may carry out filming/photographing in the Gallery. Where particular areas of the Gallery are going to be used for filming or photography, we will always flag this in advance with clear signage. Please notify a member of staff if you do not wish to be filmed or photographed.

Impressions Gallery is accessible to wheelchair users. Large print guides, transcripts of interpretive materials as well as additional seating are available upon request.

All events have unallocated seating and visitors with special seating requirements are advised to arrive early where possible. Please contact the Welcome Desk in advance if you have any access requirements.

From time to time it may be necessary to close the Gallery for exhibition installations and maintenance – please check the website before you travel.

• The vast majority of our events are free, but should a fee apply a concessionary rate will be made available where possible.
• We recommend that visitors arrive 15 minutes before the start of an event.
• Where booking is applicable, visitors are asked to sign in at the Welcome Desk to gain admission.
• Seating is first come, first served.
• We request that where possible mobile phones, pagers and watches are silenced before entering the event.
• Admission for latecomers is discretionary and subject to availability.
• Impressions Gallery reserves the right to release any booked places for events that have not been taken 10 minutes after events have started.
• Impressions Gallery reserves the right to refuse admission or attendance to any visitor.
• Impressions Gallery reserves the right to make any alterations to an advertised programme rendered necessary by unavoidable causes.

• Bookings for our public events may only be made through Impressions Gallery and not through any third parties.
• Impressions Gallery operates an attendee list system for bookable public events.
• Once you have confirmed and / or paid for your place(s) your name will be added the attendee lists for the event(s). We do not send tickets in the post.
• We regret that we cannot take any unpaid reservations for any public events where there is a fee for admission.
• When booking an event your details will be held by our ticketing service provider Eventbrite so that we can contact you regarding your booking. You will also be offered the option of joining our mailing list to receive information about future events at Impressions Gallery.
• Impressions Gallery complies with all applicable UK and EU data protection legislation in force in respect of any personal information you submit to us. The personal data you submit to us will only be used for the specified purposes indicated to you and will not be passed onto unauthorised third parties without your explicit consent. When you book places for events at Impressions Gallery, these are processed through Eventbrite.

Where applicable, payment or ‘pay as you feel’ donations can be made using Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Cancellation (by Impressions Gallery)

You will be contacted if a bookable event is cancelled or if there is a major change to an event.

If a payable event is cancelled by Impressions Gallery, a full refund will be issued via the means of original payment.

Refunds and cancellations (by the visitor)

If you need to cancel your booking for a payable event, we will offer a refund (less an admin fee of 25%) up to 7 days before the event. No refunds will be issued after this time, unless the event is cancelled.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

• From time to time we (or a third party) may carry out any filming, including interviews or filming/photographing of talks or events in the Gallery.
• Where particular areas of the Gallery are going to be used for filming or photography, we will flag this in advance with clear signage or otherwise make you aware of the filming in advance.
• Please notify a member of staff if you do not wish to be filmed or photographed.

PLEASE NOTE due to socially distant working, we’ll be shipping orders less frequently, with packing and posting taking place on Friday each week.

There is no charge to collect purchases from the gallery provided this is option chosen during the checkout process.

All prices indicated for products are in Pounds Sterling, inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are exclusive of delivery charges.

The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus VAT and delivery charges as set out in the payment and checkout section of the website.

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. Acceptance of the order and the completion of the contract between yourself and Impressions Gallery will take place when we have received payment and dispatched the goods you have ordered.

We may choose not to accept your order; if an item is out of stock, if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment or if we identify a product or pricing error.

We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time. Impressions Gallery reserves the right to change prices or to withdraw an item from sale without prior notice.

Impressions Gallery attempts to be as accurate as possible when describing products on the website and to ensure that product photography is clear and accurate; however, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that product descriptions, colours or other content available on the website are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

When you have completed your order you will be sent an email confirmation. It will state what the products are, the cost (including VAT) and delivery and invoice details. If your order has been unsuccessful you will be made aware of the reason for this and possible explanations. If we are unable to fulfil your order following our order acknowledgement, we will also contact you by email advising you of this.

Payments made by credit and debit card in person in the gallery Shop are processed by Worldpay.

Payments made by credit and debit card through our online Shop are processed through PayPal. The information you give such as your debit or credit card number and contact information is provided to them so that the transaction can take place. This is done in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Security Standard and Impressions Gallery do not receive or retain your Credit or Debit Card details as part of the transaction.

All credit and debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, your order will not be accepted and Impressions Gallery will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

You will be liable for all duties or levies payable at any foreign port as a result of delivery of goods outside of the United Kingdom. You shall not be entitled to cancel your order on the basis of unforeseen duties or levies.

For all coupon codes the following terms and conditions apply: one discount per transaction. Cannot be used with any other offer. Coupon codes must be used within stated expiry time. Impressions Gallery has the right to amend the terms and conditions or terminate the promotion.

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected if, for any reason, you wish to return a product bought from Impressions Gallery.

If you are not satisfied with a product, please notify us within 14 days of the delivery date and return the goods to: Impressions Gallery of Photography Ltd, 7 Aldermanbury, Centenary Square, Bradford, BD1 1SD, United Kingdom.

Items will be refunded or exchanged providing that you do not use the item; it is in the same condition as when you first bought it; and, you have taken reasonable care to ensure that any item is returned to us safely and not damaged in transit.

Post and package costs are non refundable and we are not held responsible for returns that do not reach us.

Any claim by you in respect of any shortages and/or defects in the goods must be notified to us by you within 14 days of the delivery date, stating the nature of the shortage/defect and quoting the invoice number, failure to notify us will deem you to have accepted the goods. Where you make a valid claim in respect of any shortages or defects and we are liable for the claim, we will make up the shortages or replace the goods free of charge, or refund the price of the goods in question to you. In addition, for defective goods we will refund you reasonable costs incurred for postage of the goods, but we shall have no further liability to you. If you do not notify Impressions Gallery accordingly, Impressions Gallery shall have no liability for any defects and you shall be bound to pay for the goods. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

You warrant that the information given on your order form is complete and accurate.

By ordering a product from the website you agree to accept and abide by these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time. It is your responsibility to check the terms and conditions regularly in case there are any changes (particularly before making any purchase).

Although we take every care to ensure accuracy, we make no warranties as to the accuracy of the information we place on our web pages.

The extent of our liability for any breach of these terms and conditions shall be limited to the value of the goods ordered by you in the relevant transaction, however nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit Impressions Gallery’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of Impressions Gallery’s negligence.

If for any reason part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable; the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. You accept responsibility for ensuring that any product purchased from Impressions Gallery conform to the governing law(s) of any country that you have that product delivered to.
