Creative Earth Eco Fest
Returning to the beautiful grounds of Cliffe Castle, Keighley on Saturday 1 August 2026. FREE, all welcome.
Location:
Cliffe Castle, Keighley
Set in the beautiful grounds of Cliffe Castle, Keighley, this free festival invites people of all ages and backgrounds to make small but important changes that help the environment through creativity.
It can be difficult to know what we can do to help the planet, as the scale of the climate crisis can often be overwhelming. Eco Fest hopes to help people respond to the current environmental emergency in positive and creative ways. Whether you’re into photography, health and wellbeing, or live music, there’s something for everyone.
The festival will include plant-based photography workshops, a sustainable fashion show, pop up photo gallery, artist talks, music, dancing, food and so much more! There will also be opportunities to share ideas, inspiration and eco-hacks, all while having a fun day out!
Make sure to follow @CreativeEarth_EcoFest so you don’t miss out on the full programme as we continue to reveal!
Produced by Photo Hub North and Impressions Gallery, part of our Summer of Sustainability. Made possible with funding from Arts Council England, Keighley Town Council and support from Bradford Council.
Saturday 1 August 2026, 11.00am to 5.00pm
Admission is free.
Getting to the festival: Cliffe Castle, Spring Gardens Lane, Keighley West Yorkshire, BD20 6LH.
We encourage everyone to travel to the festival on public transport, cycle, or to walk where possible. We recognise travelling by car is the only option for some. If this is the case we encourage people to car share. The festival will run at a time of day when it is easier to travel on public transport.
Cliffe Castle is approximately 20 minutes walk from Keighley train station, and 15 minutes walk from Keighley bus station. Buses (for example, Bradford to Skipton) pass the lower main park gates. The 903 bus service operates from Keighley Bus Station and serves Cliffe Castle on a limited basis.
If you’re travelling to Keighley from elsewhere in West Yorkshire, there are several direct bus routes:
- From Bradford: The 662 Shuttle runs frequently between Bradford Interchange and Keighley Bus Station, taking around 35–45 minutes.
- From Leeds: The 60 Aireline provides a direct service between Leeds and Keighley via Shipley and Bingley.
- From Halifax: Direct buses operate between Halifax and Keighley.
- From Ilkley: The 62 runs regularly between Ilkley and Keighley via Silsden.
For the quickest route from your specific location, use the West Yorkshire journey planner.
Impressions Gallery’s Summer of Sustainability is a season of inspiring and thought-provoking events exploring sustainability.

Photo Call out
Are you a photographer rethinking your processes and trying to work in more sustainable ways? Are you working with eco photo processes testing and experimenting with what is possible?
We are interested in showcasing your processes, your tests, your ‘mistakes’ as well as prints that are ‘exhibition ready’. We ask that your photo print already exists and created using eco-friendly methods.
All work submitted will be displayed, with artist credits and acknowledgement. After Eco Fest, the plan is to use the prints that are donated as examples of sustainable practices in future community workshops.
Deadline for submissions Monday 20 July 2026.
