Emerging photographers Takeover our Instagram feed @impgalleryphoto throughout Autumn 2026 to Spring 2027.

Connect with us on Instagram to follow the takeovers and enjoy dialogue with emerging photographers sharing their work with our community.

We will be starting the takeovers with Spotlight on Bradford, highlighting photographers Nathan McGill, Joshua Hart and Keyhan Modaressi whose work centres around Bradford.

Takeover Schedule

28 September to 2 October: Nathan McGill. A socially engaged photographer interested in the relationships between people and place, sharing his project Wicket.

6 October to 10 October: Keyhan Modaressi. Photographer and Filmmaker sharing Our Story, Our City, an ambitious photographic project documenting every postcode across Bradford.

12 October to 16 October: Joshua Hart. Emerging photographer Joshua Hart will be sharing work from his on-going personal project The Pursuit for The Perfect Game.

Following an Open Call, a selection of emerging photographers from across the UK will present their work on our Instagram account for 5-days. Sharing projects that relate to one of 3 themes:

• Journeys: Exploring place, belonging, migration and journeys through time.
• A New Generation: Using photography as a tool for expression, interrogating contemporary ideas and story-telling through the eyes of today’s youth.
• Unbound: Diverse, contemporary practices, experimental and playful work that breaks boundaries.
