Organic Paper Making Workshop — Impressions Gallery

Discover the art of handmade papermaking in this fun, eco-friendly  introductory workshop with artist and papermaker Danielle Phelps.

Using contemporary tools and techniques you will learn a variety of methods to craft unique, one-off organic mushroom papers. This workshop is open to beginners, with no prior experience required *please be aware that mushrooms may cause allergic reactions or sensitivities.

Attendees are encouraged to wear gloves and aprons during the workshop. Masks will be provided if needed.

    Danielle Phelps

    Danielle is a multidisciplinary artist and workshop facilitator based in Birmingham, working across paper making, printmaking, and animation. Over the past four years, she has developed skills in paper-making, repurposing both organic and paper waste material through independent and collaborative methods.
