Get professional feedback on your work at this event offering advice and inspiration for underrepresented photographers.
During the 25 minute individual session, you will share your work with photographer Marc Wilson, and Curator, Raquel Villar-Pérez, who will offer you constructive feedback in a supportive environment. You can read more about Marc and Raquel below.
We recommend bringing along one or two bodies of work and to think in advance about any aspects that you would like help on. For more information about what to expect at your portfolio review session and how to prepare for it, you can download our helpful guide below.
Who is it for?
These portfolio reviews are specifically for underrepresented photographers – creatives who face barriers and inequality to opportunity. We support people who are underrepresented in a range of ways, on the assumption that people will use their judgement about the barriers and issues they have faced. We have never turned anyone away as ‘not underrepresented enough’.
The sessions are designed for committed photographers at all levels, whether you’re a student, non-professional, or a seasoned photographer.
Please note, that we are not actively seeking work for our exhibition programme. This event is part of TILT/SHIFT, a professional development programme by Impressions Gallery designed in response to photographers’ feedback.
