Chris Morrell and Kirsten Branston from Bradford Live will share their journey behind the transformation of the building. Originally built in 1930, the magnificent building previously known as the New Victoria, Gaumont and Bradford Odeon is being restored to its former glory as an entertainment hub for the city.
The development is being managed by Bradford Live and will be operated by the NEC Group (UK’s leading live events business). Due to open late 2023 as a world-class leisure and business destination which is expected to attract 300,000 visitors each year.

Kirsten is a Director of a consultancy based business and also brings expertise from the financial sector where she was a Senior Bank Manager. Kirsten invests heavily in the local community; as well as her involvement in Bradford Live, she has over 10 years experience as a school Governor. She is passionate about live music, attending dozens of gigs each year.

This new publication written by Mark Nicholson brings together extensive research and interviews, accompanied by a wealth of photographs, many of which have never been published before.
Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
