Programmed in the lead up to our Photobook Fair: Sustainability and the Photobook.

Tuesday 24 October – 12.00pm – 12.15pm Radha Pandey, based between Norway and India, talks paper making using plants in your garden.

Tuesday 24 October – 1.00pm – 1.15pm Lisa Holmes, introduction to a year-long project funded by Arts Council England to research and develop an Eco-darkroom.

Wednesday 25 October – 12.00pm – 12.15pm Clare Hewitt, and Emily Macaulay (Stanley James Press), will talk about their experience of collaboratively planning, designing and making a sustainable biodegradable photobook for Clare’s most recent work, Everything in the forest is the forest. 

Wednesday 25 October – 1.00pm – 1.15pm Tiffany Jones from Overlapse books will be showing work on sustainable approaches to making photobooks.

Thursday 26 October – 12.00pm – 12.15pm Kaamna Patel, visual artist and book maker currently based in Mumbai, launched her publishing imprint Editions JOJO with her book ‘In Today’s News: Alpha Males Women Power’ in May 2019 in Mumbai. 

Friday 27 October – 2.00pm – 2.15pm Nilo Biazzetto Neto, Brazil, speaking about his latest photobook Cafeína, created from photographs already printed, from previous projects.
