Teach a Man to Fish by Stuart Mccloskey

£5.00

Teach a Man to Fish is the culmination of a four-month project studying the fishing industry and its struggles to deal with the issue of overfishing. The zine draws together snapshots of numerous explorations within the project and encourages the viewer to look at potential concerns of fishing in a larger scope. Ranging from a documentary approach to more interrogating and abstract imagery, the ambiguous nature of the zine raises questions around the representation of the fishing industry and its unsustainable nature. By utilising imperfect printing processes, the risograph printed zine further exemplifies the inadequate process of modern fishing.
